From GPWiki

Files:GUITutorial_warn.gif The Game Programming Wiki has moved! Files:GUITutorial_warn.gif

The wiki is now hosted by GameDev.NET at wiki.gamedev.net. All gpwiki.org content has been moved to the new server.

However, the GPWiki forums are still active! Come say hello.

School, real life, and apathy have kind of decimated my activity here, but I'd like to try to reverse that.

Goals For me:

  • Get more back into programming
  • Renovate all the lame old demos I've uploaded on the wiki.
  • Get into some sizable projects
  • Finish Linux port of Sion's WikiAdventure

For the wiki:

  • More activity
  • Organize GPWiki in a unified, sensible manner. Some people tried to do it a while ago, but nothing much happened.
  • Better newb-handling articles
  • More proofreading.
  • Do something about the use and abuse of GPWiki by commercial advertising.

Notable Projects/Contributions

Eat: Files:EatCppSDL.zip

And a tutorial to go with it: Practical Keyboard Input

An appalling attempt at an article describing protection of your software, needing much work by competent people: Programming_Techniques:Self_Defense_in_Game_Development

And an SDL_ttf tut, that the wiki needed pretty bad: C:Basic_Font_Rendering_with_SDL_ttf

Ancient and now embarassing relic of my old "misc text files" folder: Numbering_systems

A simple (buggy and crude) pong clone with only linux binaries so far: Files:Paddles-lin.tar.gz

A badly needed tutorial about picking a first language: Picking_a_Language

A simple Breakout clone using code from Paddles: Files:Blockbreak-lin.tar.gz

An article about creating a game website: Creating_a_Game_Website

Here is my basically defunct userjournal, which I only refrain from deleting out of respect of the delete function: User:Snoolas/Journal

Also, as always, I think and plan for my big gigantic RPG/Massive-Engine/Thing.
